Medusa’s Zen Garden

Gorgons mourn their sis.
Her head is gone with her hiss.
How she shall be missed.

“Athena, save me!”
Cries Medusa through tears. *Change*
“No man may look?” Smile.

Perseus mounting
Medusa’s child, mounting both:
Her son and her head.

Poseidon’s poniards
Stick deep into earth and sea
And Medusa’s pleas.

Enemies quaking–
Then, still. Petrification–
A lot like baking.

Little stone statues
Arranged all in a pattern.
My own Zen garden.
